Teacher Support

Providing students with an enhanced learning experience

At Primavera, we go above and beyond to make sure our students have a supportive team helping them every step of the way. Our community-based instructional model offers multi-layered learning and support services for students and families, with a focus on student learning, achievement and experience. It is personalized, flexible and adaptable to support student success!

This dynamic learning model sets us apart from other schools and provides students in grades 9-12 with daily access to live direct instruction and support from an instructional community of teachers and tutors.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GET LAYERS OF SUPPORT FROM AN INSTRUCTIONAL COMMUNITY:

Community
Lead Teacher

Community Lead Teachers deliver small group instruction 2-3 times per week and assign small groups to Tutors and Synchronous Teachers.

Synchronous
Teacher

Synchronous Teachers’ primary focus is on live group lessons. They also provide small group instruction to students who are most academically at risk.

Asynchronous Teacher

Asynchronous Teachers are the main point of contact and communicate with families on a regular basis regarding progress, engagement and support. They also grade assignments and provide feedback.

Tutor / Learning Success Partner

Tutors/Learning Success Partners provide targeted academic support, working with small groups of students. They actively communicate with families regarding academic support and tutoring outcomes, and work closely with the rest of the instructional community.
