Kindergarten- Ayala Cordova
Ayala should be student of the month, because she is an all star student! She is on track with her coursework, and she attends all LIVE classes! She is always engaged and participates in class, even when Mrs. Young asks her to do silly dances! She is very sweet and kind. She has even asked students to be her friend, and is always smiling! Ayala is a role model student! I am so proud of her! – Ms. Young
1st Grade- Dominik White
I am proud to nominate Dominik for student of the month. He consistently demonstrates an outstanding work ethic by completing daily assignments with effort and care. Dominik attends live sessions regularly and actively participates in class discussions and activities.
What makes Dominik truly stand out is the positive example set for classmates. He is always ready to learn and follows directions. Dominik shows responsibility, kindness, and leadership each day, making our classroom a better place for everyone!

Why did you choose Primavera?
To allow my child to learn at his own pace and be comfortable in his own shoes.
What you like your classmates to know about you?
I am strong, I am kind, I am resilient.
What makes you a successful student?
I am successful with the help of my teacher Mrs. G and Papa & Mom (my learning coaches). They allow me to be myself, believe in me. Also my favorite classroom rule Have Fun and Do Your Best!
What advice you give other students to be successful?
To be patient, wait your turn, you will get something wrong but that’s okay.
What do you want your teachers to know?

2nd Grade- Wyatt Bohannan
Wyatt is a very respectful, hard-working, kind, on-task, participating student! Wyatt shows up to live classes, is always trying his best, and participates. Wyatt is patient with raising his hand and waiting for his turn to share. Wyatt is always positive and is on task in all of his courses. Wyatt is a great reader and works hard. – Ms. Galloway
Why did you choose Primavera?
I picked Primavera because I have type 1 diabetes and it’s nice to be at home.
What you like your classmates to know about you?
I like to play Minecraft and build things. My favorite color is orange.
What makes you a successful student?
I am able to do my school work on my own time.
What advice you give other students to be successful?
Listen to your teacher and don’t get distracted.
What do you want your teachers to know?
I enjoy playing with my brothers and running around with my dog Bluey.
3rd Grade- Daniel Lopez Ruiz
Daniel is consistently kind and respectful during live sessions. He explains his thinking and reasoning so clearly that it truly shows a deep understanding—especially impressive for a 3rd grader! He keeps up with his schoolwork, puts in strong effort, and demonstrates outstanding character. His hard work and positive attitude make him a wonderful role model for his classmates. – Ms. Staats
Why did you choose Primavera?
Daniel is an extraordinary kid with wisdom beyond his years. He was not meant to be confined to classroom. Online school gives him the freedom to do school at his pace. He loves Primavera Online, with you he has grown and learned so much. He loves working on school projects where he gets to express his creativity.
What you like your classmates to know about you?
My favorite subject is Language Arts. My favorite food is chicken wings. My favorite color is green. I like drawing, making my own movies and writing my own comic books.
What makes you a successful student?
I like to participate in class and share my opinions. I like learning new things that help me grow.
What advice you give other students to be successful?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help and always try your best.
What do you want your teachers to know?
I want my teacher to know how thankful I am for always helping us and because she makes learning fun.
4th- Liam Ariola Neely
Liam has had such a strong start to the school year! He regularly attends live classes, completes work on time, and has great grades in his courses! Liam is always willing to participate when called on and attends scheduled testing appointments on time. He is a wonderful example to his 4th grade peers! – Ms. Guarino
5th- Nazir Gaspard
Nazir is one of the kindest students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. Naz shows up to class every day ready to cheer on his classmates and share his words of encouragement with everyone. He works hard and always sets an example for others to do so as well. – Ms. Crow
6th- Amaya Ervins
Amaya deserves to be recognized for student of the month based on her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude. She consistently attends class and I can see how hard she is working on her PE exercises. Keep up the amazing work Amaya! – Ms. Schaeffer
7th- Elijah Brown
I have Elijah in two classes, Spanish and Health class. He is a remarkable students, always participating actively in live sessions and, most importantly, helping his classmates learn. He is kind, polite, and extremely bright. It’s a joy to have a student like him in my classes. He loves learning and he is just a really nice person. – Ms. Wakefield
8th- Rylee Youngblood
Rylee shows up to live sessions and reaches out when she needs help. She has a great grade in PE. – Ms. Del Cid
9th- Damon Bretthauer
It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Damon Bretthauer for Student of the Month. Damon consistently demonstrates leadership, positivity, and a strong sense of community that uplifts his entire 9th grade homeroom and classrooms.
Damon brings energy and engagement to every learning environment he enters. He is not only connected and attentive, but he also takes an active role in creating a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere. With his camera on and his willingness to share ideas, Damon sets the tone for his peers and models what it means to be present and engaged.
One of the most memorable highlights this year was Damon’s English 9 story being shared during the afternoon huddle. His creative writing and willingness to contribute his voice, even though Mr. Frederick read it, became a true highlight for the 9th grade community. This is just one example of how Damon’s creativity and commitment extend beyond himself to positively impact those around him.
Damon leads by example, showing that leadership is not only about speaking up, but also about encouraging others to participate and feel valued. His enthusiasm, respect for peers and teachers, and genuine care for the community make him an exceptional role model.

10th- Eva Spaulding
Eva consistently comes to live sessions and actively participates. She also has amazing grades in my class! She is fun to have in class and asks great questions. 😀 – Ms. Winslow
Why did you choose Primavera?
The clubs were interesting, and it gave me more opportunity to complete my school work and the teachers are all very nice.
What you like your classmates to know about you?
I like video games, anime, and I love to have fun and get my work done.
What makes you a successful student?
I do my work on time and turn everything in when its due.
What advice you give other students to be successful?
To make calendars and to manager their time, and also to take notes.
What do you want your teachers to know?
They are very nice and they help me out when they can.
11th- Jasson Tellez
Jasson attends live sessions and both Huddles everyday and is actively engaged in both. He also advocates for himself in support of his academic success. – Mr. Mentken
Why did you choose Primavera?
Por qué una excelente opción para seguir estudiando desde casa. (Because it’s an excellent option to continue studying from home.)
What you like your classmates to know about you?
Que gran parte de mi vida he estado en un hospital. Y aún así me gusta la escuela y quiero seguir estudiando. (I have spent a great part of my life at a hospital, but I still enjoy school and I want to continue studying.)
What makes you a successful student?
La perseverancia. (Perseverance.)
What advice you give other students to be successful?
Trabajar duro todos los días den todo lo que quieran lograr. (Working hard every day, giving everything to achieve what they want.)
What do you want your teachers to know?
Que gracias por la ayuda que me dan todos los días porque por eso me gane estudiante del mes. (Thanks for the help you’ve given me every day; that’s why I achieved Student of the Month.)
12th- David Aldering
I am pleased to nominate David for Student of the Month. David consistently demonstrates kindness, friendliness, and encouragement toward his peers during both morning and afternoon huddles. He is always welcoming, making others feel comfortable and valued in the group. David’s respectful and encouraging presence makes our classroom community stronger, and I believe he is very deserving of this recognition. – Ms. Greene
