Question: Why did you choose Primavera?

I selected Primavera because I was anxious about being around large groups of people when Covid was still fairly new, and wanted to protect my grandparents from getting it. I have been able to stay on track with school since I switched to Primavera, and on some days I even manage to get ahead.

Question: What would you like your classmates to know about you?

Since May of 2022, I have been suffering from stomach issues that have led me to need a Nasogastric Feeding tube. In addition to doing schoolwork, I have been watching the TV show Friends and doing anything crafty to fill my time. Shopping, spending time with family, babysitting, and even reading poetry are some of my favorite things.

Question: What makes you a successful student?

I was recently in the hospital from November 18th to December 1st. Despite feeling awful, I continued to do my schoolwork while in my hospital bed. I knew that my goal of going to college to get my degree in Early Childhood Development was one step closer if I kept doing my schoolwork. Working with kids is something I’ve been passionate about since I was 13 years old, and once I get my degree, I’ll have so many options. Since my Child Life Specialist played a significant role in changing my life during my hospitalizations, I am leaning towards becoming one myself.

Question: What advice would you give other students to be successful?

If you need help with something, don’t hesitate to ask your teachers. They will be happy to help you. Keeping your future goal in mind will help motivate you to work on school and graduate so you can achieve that goal.

Question: What do you want your teachers to know?

Thank you so much for all of your support during this past year, I couldn’t have done it without you!
