Prom 2017 was a huge success, with a record-breaking attendance of 265 students!

This year’s prom was unique because our students decided on the theme. There were more than 1,100 votes casts on four different themes. The winner, by a landslide, was Masquerade Ball.

This past Saturday, May 13, our Primavera Panthers got dressed up and danced the night away. The men wore dapper tuxes, the ladies came in elegant gowns and many wore exquisite masks. A majority of our students created hand-made masks for the event. Check out a few of them below.

The venue was beautifully decorated by Primavera’s Art Club. Students came from throughout Arizona to join the event. The farthest cities we heard were Lake Havasu and Snowflake! There were a great many brave students who came to prom on their own. But it did not take long before each of these students found new friends.

“I Drove 6 hours to get my daughter and two cousins there, so they can have the experience of a city prom,” Hermina White, parent

When it came to dancing, our students were fearless! The DJ started the music, and it took off from there. Check out some of the photos below submitted by our students:

A huge thank you to all our students who attended, and to our club members who helped decorate the venue!
