Join Our Instructional Community Team

This upcoming school year, we’re launching a new community-based learning model for an enhanced teaching and learning experience. This innovative model provides multi-layered learning and support services for students and families, with a focus on student learning, achievement and experience. It is personalized, flexible and adaptable to support student success!

This dynamic community-based learning model shares the responsibilities of a traditional teacher across a community of teachers, ensuring our instructional teams are not spread too thin. It also gives our teachers a career opportunity like no other!

Community
Lead Teacher

Full-Time Teacher. Facilitates Instructional Community data/PLC collaborations, keeping the team connected and focused on student success. Assigns small groups to Tutors, Synchronous Teacher and also delivers small group instruction 2-3 times per week. Owns the team’s student data; organizes, tracks, analyzes, and disseminates. Communicates with all team members to ensure collaboration and calibration.  Encourages students to attend synchronous sessions.

Synchronous
Teacher

Full-Time Teacher. Primary focus is whole group live lessons based on pacing of the course, power standards, and student data. Provides small group instruction to students who are most academically at risk. Has demonstrated the skills/proven success of a Master Teacher in the areas of virtual learning methodologies, content knowledge and engagement. Has a proven track record of improving student academic success.

Asynchronous Teacher

Adjunct teacher. Teacher of Record and main point of contact. Communicates with families on a regular basis regarding progress, engagement, and support. Grades assignments and provides developmental and actionable feedback. Collaborates, communicates, and calibrates with the Instructional Community to support student success. Encourages students to attend synchronous sessions.

Tutor / Learning Success Partner

Part-Time. Provides targeted academic support. Works with small groups of students as assigned by the Community Lead Teacher in collaboration with the tutoring Director and Manager. Communicates with families and Instructional Community regarding academic support and tutoring outcomes. Collaborates, communicates, and calibrates with the Instructional Community to support student success. Encourages students to attend synchronous sessions.
