Myth One: Online School Isn’t Accredited – My Work Won’t Transfer!

Whether you’re a K-12th grade student interested in full-time, part-time, or summer enrollment with Primavera Online School, it’s important to know whether all of your credits transfer. Nothing would be worse than completing a bunch of work, only to have to re-do it at a later point.

Let’s face the facts: Nobody wants to sit in front of a computer all day reading large chunks of texts or watching a 30-minute video lecture. Just like you would expect in a brick-and-mortar classroom, online learning should include different learning formats and opportunities to connect with peers.

At Primavera Online School, K-12 grade students learn using curriculum designed for the online experience. Each course is rigorous, research-based, and contains captivating multimedia elements to help you build critical knowledge and skills and become college and career ready. For example, if you enroll in our high school US History course, you will explore incredible topics such as US involvement in WWII with videos, interactives, graphics and more. You will also participate in discussion boards and complete projects to apply your knowledge.

If you were to enroll in a Primavera middle school science course, you would discover the amazing world of biology all the way from cell history and theory to organism growth. Myth Four: Colleges Don’t Accept Credits from Online School

Just because you’re learning online, doesn’t mean the work you do is any less valid or important. For K-12 grade students, Primavera Online School is ready to support you in any of your outside or academic goals, whether that means pursuing sports, careers you’re passionate about, or something else.

Myth Five: Online Students Don’t Get Enough Socialization

There can often be a worry about students missing out on the “school experience.” But Primavera works to connect their students in several ways! There are student clubs, school events (when deemed appropriate), Prom, a graduation ceremony and virtual classes to chat with friends and enjoy your school–Your way.

Myth Six: Enrolling is a Long and Difficult Process

Applying to Primavera Online School is easy. In fact, you can enroll in 5 simple steps:

  1. Fill out an application. Visit gothighschool.com/enroll or clicking here. Once there, fill out the “Get Started Now” form on the right-hand side.
  2. Create a Student Profile. You will receive an email with log-in information to create a student profile. Once received, log in and fill out all the necessary information.
  3. Fill out Background Information. Continue to the next page and fill in additional information, such as previous schools attended, emergency contacts, and so on.
  4. Complete surveys. You will see an optional Child Find Survey, a required language and learner survey, and a marketing survey. Complete these as needed.
  5. Submit! Within the original email from step two, you will have a verification code. Use that code on the final step and click submit!

Once you submit your application, an enrollment advisor will contact you within one business day. If you are not contacted within that time frame, go ahead and give us a call at 480.456.6678 and choose option 1. From there, your advisor will work with you to help you get all the necessary documents you need to enroll for Primavera.
