At Primavera, we understand that interacting with classmates and making friends is key to an enjoyable educational experience. From school events throughout Arizona to staff-monitored online student community chats, we offer numerous ways for students to get involved.
A great way to meet classmates who share your same interests is by joining an online student club. With nearly 10 clubs and more adding to list, there is sure to be a club for you! Read more to learn about them and see how you can join.

What Would I Do in Primavera’s Online Student Clubs?
When you join a club, you will be added to its Community page in the Parent Student Portal (PSP) where you will get to chat with your fellow club members daily. Each month, the club will meet online in a real time virtual setting. Each club also holds monthly in-person events for you to join in when you can to meet your fellow club mates in person while having some fun.
How to Join a Club:
1. Log in to your PSP account.
2. If you have previously enabled your community, skip to step five now. If not, click the preferences gear in the top-right corner, and then choose Community from the drop down list.
3. Read the Terms and Conditions, then click “I Agree” at the bottom right of the page.
4. Click the pencil icon at the top right, enable your community and then click save.
5. Click on Community in the far left panel and use the search bar to type in and search for the club of your choice.
6. Choose the club from the search results, then click the join icon .
Your request to join the club will be sent to the Club Advisor. Once approved, the club will appear under Groups in your Community and then you will be able to attend the club meetings.
If you have any questions about student clubs, feel free to reach out to your guidance counselor, who is always happy to address your needs. We hope you take advantage of this great opportunity to make some lifelong friends.

If we join a student club at primavera do we get time off to do club activities?Say I join the art club and right now I have 30 hours a week but after I join and get started they will take off about 5 hours a week to substitute for the club.Do you do that or is it 30 hours a week along with the club and not really time on the weekend if even that?. Im asking because I want to join a club but im bairlly getting past the week with 30 hours 5 hours a day Monday through Saturday and work Sunday if I need extra help or if im behind on anything.
Hi, Angelina. Because student clubs are extracurricular activities, they do not count toward school attendance. Thanks for the question! 🙂
What are the clubs like? If I miss a meeting what will happen? Are there assignments or is more just for group discussions?
Hi, Tori. Great question! 🙂 The clubs are purely to meet classmates who share your same interest. Clubs meet twice a month online to chat and do some activities, and there are occasional in-person events you’re welcome to join.
I enabled my community but there’s no “community” tab on the left to click. I can’t get to the part where I would choose a club to join because no search bar is there because there’s no community thing to click (the picture shows it should be between “courses” and “progress” but it’s not thee. Can anyone help me?

When I click on community it keeps saying my community is disabled. How do I change that?
Hi, Ariel. To enable your community, follow the directions in this blog post. If this doesn’t work for you, give us a call at 480.456.6678. 🙂
Can we start a club?
Hi, Hayley. Because a club requires a teacher club advisor, you aren’t able to start a club. But send us an email at [email protected] with the club you’d like to start so we can keep it in mind for next school year. 🙂
Am I able to attend more than one club, or would they get in the way of one another?
Hi, Rylee. You are welcome to join as many clubs as you’d like! They each meet at different times, so you won’t have a schedule conflict. 🙂
Hi, I was just wondering, last time I looked at the clubs it showed a drama club, is that still available?
Hi, Rylee. The Drama Club is still here! It’s a brand new club 🙂 You can learn about it in this updated post.
Are middle school and high school clubs separated such as two school art clubs or will it be multiple
Hi I was wondering of there was an esports club and if not how could I go about starting one
when do clubs start back up this semester? And what clubs can highschool students apply for?
Hi Jazmine. Clubs usually start up in September of each school year. Although some only run for half of the year, and start in January. 🙂
If I attend the club meetings, would I have to turn my camera on or do I need a webcam?
I’m trying to find the website that allows us to join clubs, I can’t seem to find it
Hi, Dallas. To join a student club, please email our Student Club Director, Ron Campton, at [email protected] with the name of the club(s) you are interested in joining.
